Auxiliary power unit (APU)

The Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) is a device that provides energy for other functions, in addition to propulsion. The device is typically used on large aircraft.
Specifications:
- Main Function: The main objective contained in the aircraft APU is to provide power at the start of the main engine.
- Before the machine is turned on, APU in turn, generally by batteries. After the APU running, APU provides power
- (electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, depending on the design) to start the main engine aircraft.
